The Station

The Station is our Children's Ministry here at the Firehouse Chapel.The Station is a ministry focused on the ages of 3-11 years every Sunday morning during the main service time. All of these children are introduced to the gospel and at the Firehouse we really make it a goal to hide the Word in their hearts. The group is separated with the 3-5 year olds in one and 6-11 in the other.

With the 3-5 year olds, we believe that at that age these children really begin to understand the whole idea of Jesus and what He has done for us.We introduce Bible stories, sing songs of praise to the King, and begin to teach them the scriptures. We also have a time of games and activities that are based around what the children have learned throughout the lessons of the day.

The 6 to 11 year olds students really start to dive into the word and begin to really hide it in their hearts. They are taught a lesson every Sunday and have to memorize a new piece of scripture for the next Sunday. We want these students to begin to incorporate the Word of God in their daily lives and begin to make it their own.Activities and games also take place that go along with the lesson of the day. These students are stretched and encouraged with the teachers and Words of God.
